If you've been planning your wedding recently, you may have seen headlines about proposed changes to wedding law in England and Wales. The Government is currently consulting on what could become the biggest overhaul of wedding legislation in almost 200 years.

While nothing has changed just yet, the proposals could give couples much more freedom over where and how they choose to get married.
